These terms cover the website thechatbotgenius.com and the application named The Chatbot Genius ("the App"), the self-hosted social media publishing tool operated by The Chatbot Genius (Barker HR Solutions Inc., Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) at postiz.thechatbotgenius.com. Wherever these terms say "the App," they mean The Chatbot Genius application, including its TikTok integration.
1. Who may use the App
The App is a private, self-hosted tool operated for accounts we own or manage with the account owner's authorization. It is not offered as a public service. Access is limited to authorized users.
2. What the App does
The App lets an authorized account owner connect their own social media accounts, compose posts, and publish them. Publishing happens only on the account owner's explicit action. The account owner is responsible for the content they publish.
3. Acceptable use
- Content published through the App must comply with the receiving platform's terms, community guidelines, and applicable law.
- The App may not be used to publish content on any account without that account owner's authorization.
- The App may not be used for spam, deceptive practices, or automated content the account owner has not reviewed.
4. Connected platforms
Connecting a social account grants the App the permissions shown on the platform's authorization screen, and nothing more. The connection can be revoked at any time from within the App or from the platform's own security settings.
5. Intellectual property
Content owners keep all rights to the content they publish through the App. Website content on thechatbotgenius.com belongs to The Chatbot Genius unless otherwise noted.
6. No warranty
The website and the App are provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from their use, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
