This policy covers the website thechatbotgenius.com and the application named The Chatbot Genius ("the App"), the self-hosted social media publishing tool operated by The Chatbot Genius (Barker HR Solutions Inc., Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) at postiz.thechatbotgenius.com. Wherever this policy says "the App," it means The Chatbot Genius application, including its TikTok integration.

What the App does

The App is a self-hosted social media scheduling tool used to compose and publish posts to social media accounts that the account owner has connected. It publishes only content the account owner creates and only on the account owner's explicit instruction.

Information the App collects

• Account identifiers from connected social platforms (for example a TikTok account's display name, avatar, and open identifier), provided by the platform when the account owner authorizes the connection.
• Access tokens issued by the platform during authorization, used solely to publish on the connected account's behalf.
• Content (video, images, captions) that the account owner uploads for publishing.

How that information is used

• To display the connected account inside the App so the owner can see which account a post will publish to.
• To publish the owner's content to the connected account when the owner initiates a post.
• For no other purpose. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with third parties. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Storage and retention

The App is self-hosted on infrastructure we control. Tokens and account identifiers are retained only while the account connection is active. Disconnecting an account from the App removes its stored credentials. Account owners can also revoke the App's access at any time from the platform's own settings (for example TikTok's Settings under Security and permissions, Apps and services).

Third-party platforms

Content published through the App is governed by the receiving platform's own terms and privacy policy (for example TikTok's). The App only sends what the account owner chose to publish.

Website analytics

The website thechatbotgenius.com uses Google Analytics and a Meta pixel for aggregate visitor statistics. These are standard third-party analytics tools; no personal data you send us by email is shared with them. The App at postiz.thechatbotgenius.com does not use advertising pixels.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold by emailing jay@barkerhrs.com. We answer within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted at this address with an updated date.
